Introduction

Since 1988, Carsoft has developed independent alternatives to official factory BMW- and Mercedes diagnostic systems. Carsoft BMW- and MINI Diagnostic Software is a diagnostic system for 1988-2008 BMW and 2001 – 2008 MINI models equipped with onboard diagnostics. CarSoft BMW and MINI is up to date for cars built up to 10/2007.

Please note this is a serial device, and requires a computer with a serial port.  Most modern laptops do not have this.  The device will not work with a USB to Serial converter, instead you will need a PCMCIA card adapter, this forms a true serial port.
