Galletto 1260 ECU Flasher
Product Description

 

The Galletto Flasher is used to READ & WRITE the flash data stored on the latest ECU's. This data contains MAPS which are responsible for ignition advance, injection timing, torque limiter, speed limiter and more. By reading the data and using a proper program you can find these MAPS and alter the values.

(e.g. increase power by massive amounts)

GALLETTO EOBD2 is easy hardware for updating software (typical chiptunning) Working on EDC16, EDC15, MEx.x , DELCO and many more engine ECUs.

It is compatible with the newest modern diesel TDi,HDi,JTD, etc and petrol cars.

The ecu-flasher connects to your pc/notebook via USB.

 Very easy to use:

- install the driver package to your notebook/pc
- connect the ecu-flasher to a free USB port
- point windows to the folder where you installed the driver package
- reboot

How to read data from a supported ECU:

- connect the hardware to your USB port & to the diagnostic port of the car
- start the communication software
- turn ignition on (not engine, just the ignition only)
- select the ECU you want to read/write from a list
- select additional options (if needed)
- click the read button to read out the original data (where supported)
- save the file to you HD, edit or forward it

How to write data to a supported ECU:

- connect the hardware to your USB port & to the diagnostic port of the car
- start the communication software
- turn ignition on (not engine, just the ignition only)
- select the ECU you want to read/write from a list
- select additional options (if needed)
- click the write button and select the file you want to write
- follow the instructions on screen
- switch off ignition and wait 10 seconds. done.

Petrol (Naturally Aspirated)

Remapping a petrol engine ECU will produce 10 - 15% BHP depending on exact specification, the engine will also be more responsive on initial acceleration and produce more torque (up to 20%) through out the entire rev range, giving more response on lighter throttle.

Petrol (Turbo)

Remapping a petrol turbo engine ECU will produce 20 - 30% BHP depending on exact specification, the engine will be significantly more responsive with power coming in immediately relative to throttle input with no lagging at higher revs. This large increase in power & torque gives far more flexibility in all gears reducing the need to change down unnecessarily to overtake safely and quickly.

Diesel (Turbo)

Remapping a diesel turbo engine ECU will produce 30 - 50% BHP and 60 - 75% torque depending on exact specification, diesel engines give the most impressive power and torque gains available. Extra power is gained through out the entire rev range and under all load conditions, the turning force gained from these engines is immense. This really is the best way of changing your car without having to change your car. Just seeing customers faces after tuning these engines really makes the job worth while
